What Happens After You Send USDT? Confirmations, Payout and UTR
What happens after you send USDT to sell it for INR: blockchain confirmations, when the INR is sent, what a UTR is and what to do if it's late.

Quick answer
After you send USDT, the Tron network confirms the transfer in about a minute, the payout partner credits it and starts the INR payout, and the rupees reach your bank by IMPS, NEFT or RTGS. You get a UTR, the bank's reference number, as proof that the transfer was sent.
After you send USDT, three things happen. The Tron network confirms your transfer (about a minute on TRC20). Our payout partner Trans Ramp then credits it and starts your INR payout. Finally the rupees reach your bank by IMPS, NEFT or RTGS, with a UTR as proof. On Disburz you get an email at the second and third steps.

Step 1: your transfer is picked up (seconds)
As soon as your USDT is in a block, the payment page changes from “Waiting for payment” to “Payment detected” and shows the amount it can see. If you sent the full amount, the address and QR code disappear so nobody pays twice. If you sent less, the page shows the remaining amount to send.
Step 2: block confirmations (about a minute)
Tron makes a new block roughly every 3 seconds. A transfer is treated as final once enough blocks have been built on top of it — on Tron that’s about 19 blocks. The payment page shows the count as a bar: 1/19, 2/19 … 19/19. Until then, nothing is credited. That’s deliberate: crediting only final blocks means a payment can never be “undone” after we’ve counted it.
You can watch the same transfer yourself on Tronscan by pasting your transaction hash.

Step 3: paid, and the payout starts
At 19/19 the page shows “Confirmed — finalising…” and, a couple of seconds later, “Paid ✓”. Trans Ramp has your USDT, the INR amount is fixed, and the payout to your bank starts. You get an email: “We’ve received your USDT — INR is on its way”, with the amount, the bank account it’s going to (last four digits) and the full breakdown.
Step 4: INR in your bank, with a UTR
Trans Ramp sends the rupees by the method on your bank details. When the transfer is made you get a second email with the UTR — the bank’s reference for that exact transfer (see what a UTR number is).
| Method | When it usually arrives | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| IMPS | Within minutes | Works 24/7, including weekends and bank holidays |
| NEFT | Within a few hours | Settles in half-hourly batches |
| RTGS | Within minutes in banking hours | For ₹2,00,000 and above |

A real sale, minute by minute
This is our own test sale on Tron’s Nile test network on 11 October 2026: 11 USDT, quoted at ₹718.
| Time (IST) | What happened |
|---|---|
| 18:12:15 | Sale confirmed on Disburz; Trans Ramp payment page opened |
| 18:13:54 | USDT sent, confirmed and credited — “Paid ✓” (1 min 39 s after the order, including the time to send) |
| 18:13:54 | Payout to the bank started |
| 18:18:30 | INR marked sent with its UTR; shown in Order History |
It was a test, so treat the times as an example rather than a promise: the payout step depends on the bank method and on Trans Ramp’s processing. Live service status is on our status page.
If you sent a different amount
Nothing is lost. The INR is worked out on the USDT that actually arrived, at the same rate and with the same fees. Send a bit more and you get a bit more INR. Send less while the 30-minute window is open and the page asks for the rest; if the window closes, you’re paid for what arrived.
Very small amounts are the exception: Trans Ramp deducts 3 USDT and a ₹50 fee from every sale, so a payment of only a few USDT can work out to ₹0. The quote shows the minimum (about 8.73 USDT in October 2026).
If the INR hasn’t arrived
- Check the payment page. Still confirming? Wait for 19/19. “Paid ✓”? The payout has started.
- Check your email for the UTR. If you have one, search for it in your bank app or statement.
- Allow for the method. NEFT can take a few hours. IMPS is usually minutes.
- Raise a ticket in your Disburz account under Support, with your transaction hash. A person replies, and we email you when they do.
