XM Withdrawal to Indian Bank Account: Methods, Rules and the USDT Route (2026)
How Indian traders withdraw from XM: the $5 minimum, the deposit-matching rule, margin limits, 2-5 day bank wires, the USDT route to INR, and the RBI risk.
By Bryan Aaron · Updated
Quick answer
XM lets verified clients withdraw at any time, from $5 and with no XM fees, but deposits first go back to the method used to deposit. Profits can then leave by any method on your Funding page. Bank wires take 2 to 5 business days; if USDT is offered, withdraw on TRC20 to Disburz for INR. XM is on RBI's Alert List.

Getting money out of XM is mostly about two rules: the money you deposited goes back the way it came, and only then can profits leave by another method. Here's how XM withdrawals work for Indian traders, how long they take, and how to get the profit into your bank as rupees.

XM withdrawal rules, from XM's help centre
| Minimum | $5 for any account type; varies by payment method |
| XM fees | None on deposits or withdrawals (your bank or payment provider may charge) |
| Who can be paid | Only you: no deposits from or withdrawals to friends' or relatives' accounts |
| Order of withdrawals | Deposited amounts go back to their original method first; profits then by any available method |
| Open positions | Allowed, unless the withdrawal drops your margin level below 150% on weekdays or 400% at weekends |
| Bonuses | Not withdrawable; profits made with bonuses are |
| Bank wire or card arrival | Usually 2 to 5 business days |
Which withdrawal method to use from India
XM lists cards, bank transfers, local transfers and e-wallets, and shows the methods available to your account under Funding → Withdrawal in WebTrader or the XM App. What Indian traders run into:
- International bank wire: slow, and the inward remittance can draw questions from your bank about its purpose.
- “Local transfer”: often paid by a local agent, so the rupees come from a third party, the same freeze risk as P2P.
- E-wallets: some, such as Skrill and Neteller, appear on the Indian government's list of platforms directed for blocking.
- Crypto (USDT), if your Funding page offers it: fast, and you control where it goes.
Step by step: XM profit to your bank account via USDT
- Clear the matching rule. If you deposited by card or another method, withdraw that amount back to it first.
- Get a Disburz quote for the profit amount in USDT, add your bank account (in your own name), and copy the deposit address. It starts with
T. - In WebTrader or the XM App, go to Funding → Withdrawal and choose the USDT option on the TRC20 (TRON) network if it's listed.
- Enter the amount, paste the Disburz address, and confirm.
- Once the USDT confirms on TRON (about a minute), Disburz pays INR to your bank by IMPS, NEFT or RTGS and emails you the UTR.

No USDT option on your account? Withdraw by the method XM offers to an account in your own name, and avoid routes that pay you through a stranger. What 1,000 USDT arriving on TRC20 pays at today's quote (fees: ₹50 fee + 3 USDT network deduction):
| Arrives at Disburz | 1,000 USDT (TRC20) |
| Network deduction | − 3 USDT |
| Rate | 1 USDT = ₹96.00 |
| Converted value | ₹95,712.00 |
| Fee | − ₹50.00 |
| Paid to your bank | ₹95,662.00 |

Why XM withdrawals get stuck
- Verification incomplete: XM only pays out to verified accounts.
- Matching rule: deposits haven't been returned to the original method yet.
- Margin level: the withdrawal would push it below 150% (weekdays) or 400% (weekends).
- Third-party account: the destination isn't in your name.
- Pending vs processed: you can cancel a request only while it's still pending, under Funding → Transaction History.
Tax
Profits are taxable for a resident whatever the broker, generally as speculative business income at your slab rate. If you receive USDT and sell it, that sale can also fall under the virtual digital asset rules. Keep your XM statements and payout UTRs, and have a CA prepare your return.
