MEXC to Indian Bank Account: Withdraw Your USDT After MEXC Suspended India (2026)
MEXC suspended trading, deposits and INR P2P in India from 28 Feb 2026, but crypto withdrawals still work. How to get your USDT out and into your bank as INR.

Quick answer
MEXC suspended trading, deposits, Convert and INR P2P for users in India from 28 February 2026 while it seeks FIU-IND registration, but on-chain crypto withdrawals are not on its list of suspended services. Withdraw your USDT on TRC20 (Wallets → Withdraw → On-chain Withdrawal) to a direct offramp like Disburz and receive INR in your bank by IMPS with a UTR.
Opened MEXC from India and found you can't trade, deposit or sell on P2P? That's not a glitch. MEXC suspended its services for India on 28 February 2026. The good news: your crypto isn't locked in. Withdrawals still work, and here's how to turn that balance into rupees in your bank.

What MEXC switched off in India, and when
| Date (2026) | What changed |
|---|---|
| 15 January | New sign-ups from India paused; events, referrals and rewards stopped for Indian users |
| 27 February | INR delisted from P2P; Indian users' P2P ads removed |
| 28 February, 00:00 IST | Trading, deposits, Convert, INR deposits and withdrawals, P2P, Buy Crypto and bots suspended |
| Since then | Suspended “until further notice” while MEXC completes FIU-IND registration |
What still works for Indian users, per MEXC's detailed notice:
- On-chain crypto withdrawals (not on the suspended list).
- Moving funds between your own Spot and Futures accounts.
- Closing existing futures positions, which MEXC says are not force-closed because of the suspension.
Transfers to other MEXC accounts were switched off, so you can't hand your balance to a friend inside MEXC either.
Before you withdraw: two problems people hit
1. Your balance isn't in USDT
Spot trading and Convert are off for India, so you can't swap your coins into USDT on MEXC. Withdraw the coin itself instead, to a wallet or an exchange that serves India, convert it to USDT there, then send the USDT on TRC20. If your coin needs a memo or tag (XRP, TON and others), copy it from the receiving platform or the coins can be lost.
2. MEXC asks for KYC first
MEXC now requires verification for withdrawals. If you never completed KYC, you have two options:
- Complete Primary KYC in the app, the quickest route if your documents are accepted.
- Use the Withdrawal Appeal Form (Help Center → Self-Services). You upload a government ID and a short video of yourself holding the ID and a withdrawal application sheet dated the same day. MEXC says the review takes 1 to 2 business days and the whole process about 7 days. Afterwards the account keeps only withdrawal and position-closing permissions.
Also have your Google Authenticator and email ready: MEXC confirms every withdrawal with both codes.
Step by step: MEXC USDT to your bank account
- Close or settle anything open: futures positions, bots and Earn products, so your USDT sits in your Spot wallet.
- Get a Disburz quote for the amount, add your bank account, and confirm. Copy the deposit address (it starts with
T) and note the exact USDT amount. - In the MEXC app, tap Wallets → Withdraw, choose USDT and On-chain Withdrawal.
- Paste the address and select the TRC20 network, the one that matches a
Taddress. - Enter the quantity. MEXC shows the withdrawal fee on the page; make the amount that arrives match your Disburz order.
- Tap Confirm Withdrawal and enter your email and Google Authenticator codes.

Once the USDT reaches TRON, Disburz detects it, counts the confirmations (about a minute) and pays INR to your bank, then emails you the UTR. What 1,000 USDT arriving on TRC20 pays at today's quote (fees: ₹50 fee + 3 USDT network deduction):
| Arrives at Disburz | 1,000 USDT (TRC20) |
| Network deduction | − 3 USDT |
| Rate | 1 USDT = ₹96.00 |
| Converted value | ₹95,712.00 |
| Fee | − ₹50.00 |
| Paid to your bank | ₹95,662.00 |

Your options for turning MEXC funds into INR
| Route | Works from India now? | Main catch |
|---|---|---|
| MEXC P2P or INR withdrawal | No, switched off since 27–28 February 2026 | Not available |
| Withdraw USDT on TRC20 to Disburz | Yes | Network must match the T address |
| Withdraw to an Indian exchange (CoinDCX and others) and sell there | Yes | 1% TDS on the sale and exchange fees |
| Withdraw to another global exchange and sell on its P2P | Depends on the exchange | P2P money from strangers can freeze your bank account |
Why P2P is risky: bank account frozen after crypto P2P.
Mistakes to avoid
- Choosing “MEXC Transfer”. That's an internal transfer to another MEXC user, and it's switched off for India anyway. You need On-chain Withdrawal.
- Picking BEP20 or ERC20 for a T address. The network must match the address. Not sure? Use the address checker.
- Using a VPN to keep trading. It breaks MEXC's terms and can get the account frozen with your money inside.
- Paying a “recovery agent” or “unlock fee”. Strangers who DM you about stuck MEXC funds are scammers. The appeal form is free and runs inside MEXC's Help Center.
- Waiting for MEXC to come back. It hasn't given a date. Withdrawals work now.
Tax
Gains on crypto are taxed at a flat 30% plus cess, whichever way you cash out, and you report them in your ITR as income from virtual digital assets. Download your MEXC trade history while you still have access, and keep the UTR of every payout. Details: crypto tax and TDS in India.
Other exchanges: Binance, Bybit, Bitget, OKX, KuCoin, Gate and others.
